Jess - Law Enforcement

As a shift worker who was learning how to balance work, life and being present in a relationship, I found myself becoming increasingly negative. I wasn’t really sure why. I was going from coach to coach, ‘trying’ to work on myself, but I felt flat most days and genuinely struggled to enjoy my job.
It wasn’t until I got some great advice from a friend who pointed me in the direction of A Healthy Shift.
With Rog, I learnt a LOTTTTT, and I genuinely mean that. I had reached a point where I wanted to quit my job, but he helped me build habits that have now become so natural and easy to maintain. His guidance around building better habits, optimising my daily routine and making the most of my time has helped me hugely.
I’m still in my shift work career, and I don’t see myself quitting anytime soon. I’ve learnt how to better balance work, life and, most importantly, myself.
But more than anything, Rog gave me a wake-up call.
A wake-up call to look at my values, my priorities and the life I actually want to live. It meant letting go of some things, making myself a priority and learning that looking after myself isn’t selfish; it’s necessary.
I feel healthy & I love me (which I’d never say).
I’m genuinely grateful for the perspective, habits and guidance he’s given me. It’s changed far more than just the way I approach shift work. I couldn’t be more thankful for Roger, an amazing coach and a now friend!
