Shift work will gradually suck the life out of you if you don’t know the best way to go about it.

While this may sound like a pretty bleak outlook for those working long days and nights, combining science and experience, I’m here to help you.

Who is this guy?

I (Roger) have been a 24/7 shift worker for almost four decades. I personally suffered from numerous health conditions that I later found out were caused by poor nutrition and my practices around 24/7 shift-work.

Like you, I was never educated on the best way to go about shift work and just stumbled my way through it my entire career.

Now, as a certified evidence-based nutritionist, I can honestly testify how much nutrition and specific health management affects so many facets of physical and mental health. I still work as a 24/7 shift-worker, but without pain, fatigue, brain fog, and everything else that goes along with it. 

I now stay abreast of the research, break it down and with my own experience in a 24/7 shift working environment, find ways to apply it in your shift working life.

I am, to you, who I wish I had back when I started shift work.   

Without me, the research just sits on the shelf gathering dust.

What can Roger actually do for me?

An excellent question, and one I’m glad you asked.

I’m here to support you in identifying your values and goals. Together we will find ways to work toward them considering your unique lifestyle. Diets and meal plans don’t usually work for us shift-workers, simply because we don’t have the time (or energy) to prepare or stick to them. It is challenging to work out when and how to train when you are so fatigued, isn’t it? Especially for a shift-worker who also has to think about running a household, cooking, washing, cleaning, and a life where having to also walk the dog leaves you spent.

There is no calorie counting (unless you want to), weekly weighing or before and after pictures here. We work together to create solutions that create lasting changes for you as a shift-worker.
