Teah - FiFo
I had been following Rog for some time on Instagram, taking advantage of all the amazing content that he posts before signing up to be coached one on one with him.
I’m a shift FIFO Worker, who this year started working an 8&6 Days and 7&7 Nightshift roster. Previously, I had only been a day shift only FIFO roster.
Since changing to regular nightshifts, I was struggling with feeling horrible on my days off after nightshifts, with no energy and being highly stressed. I would often take the whole 7 days off to come into a good routine again.
I get overwhelmed easily and often put a lot of pressure on myself to be successful. I love training at the gym however, it had started to become an even bigger stress on my body, like I was on a fast path to burnout.
I reached out to Rog for help and the last 12 weeks I have learnt so much.
We took things back to basics to get my body feeling the best on my days off. Rog helped me change my mindset and attitude, we worked on setting up a regular routine for my sleep cycle, nutrition timing, and included habits like journaling and slowing down movement to walking and stretching.
Rog supported me and kept me accountable with regular zoom calls and weekly check ins. His amazing attitude and smile are infectious. I have really enjoyed my time working together and highly recommend his personal one-on-one approach to anyone struggling with shift work.
