Brooke - 24/7 Nurse

I was a long time follower of Roger’s and knew what he was about. I’d implanted the no coffee past midnight and fasting from midnight until I got home but that about as far as I got.

I then decided to move my life across the other side of the world and started 12hr nursing shifts and boy was I struggling. I wasn’t happy with myself and life in general.

I was a huge emotional eater and self-sabotaged any progress I’d made, so one gloomy Vancouver day I reached out to Roger and was ready for change and that’s what I got, in a very unexpected but just what I needed way.

Roger was there for me from the very beginning, he met a very sad person and with his support and guidance, we not only built a strong consumer relationship but also a great friendship.

I wasn’t ridiculed or dragged over coals if I had a bad day, just a listening ear and support to figure out why I was emotionally eating.

Roger isn’t like any other coach I’ve worked with, he understands the pressure of shift work and even though he is a nutritionist, we never spoke about food. The way he goes about working with you and your mindset, he doesn’t need to discuss food because better eating comes with a better understanding of the underlying causes.

What I have learnt from Roger has become lifetime habits.

I said goodbye to Roger a totally different person to the one he had met 6 months prior. Back being my happy self, a lot more confident and no longer emotionally eating which is huge for me.

I’m so grateful to have finally decided to invest in myself and Roger, he has changed my life.
